Stamps School of Art & Design's
Wayfinding System

Client: Stamps School of Art and Design
Role: Creative Direction, Design, Print

In collaboration with Carl Greene

The Art & Architecture building at the University of Michigan is notorious for being frustrating to navigate for both students, faculty, and visitors. I tackled the challenge of creating a new cohesive, direct wayfinding system in Advance Typography with Franc Nunoo-Quarcoo. I presented my wayfinding proposal to the Stamps Communications & Marketing department. Carl Greene, Stamps’ graphic designer, worked with my initial creative direction to present to the board. Collaborating with Carl Greene, we finalized a wayfinding system for the Art & Architecture building, which is shared between Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design and Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.
