Amphibian Stage Productions'
New Play Festival
Every year, Amphibian Stage Productions (ASP), a progressive theater company in Fort Worth, Texas, invites promising contemporary playwrights to participate in a residency. This opportunity helps writers cultivate their ideas and make their scripts production-ready. Also, ASP's members witness the first read-through to the final performance and provide influential feedback. Through this residency program, ASP has nurtured numerous successful plays, which are produced all over the U.S. For this year's art direction, I used an analog process to convey the spirit of the residency, which is about trusting the process, experimenting, and embracing raw emotion.
